So we have a 90 drr atv that is leaking underneath the lubrication pump ousing, and wanted to see what the best way to fix this might be. I can see a screw on the right side, but it is separated more on the bottom left side, where I dont see a screw to adjust. Just looking for some ideas on how to get this leak under control. Also, what are the capacities to fill this, and what is the best oil. Thanx all.

can you post a picture of where the leak is for us? Would be easier to know just what your talking about that way.

The only "lubrication pump" I know of is if yours still has the
oil injection. That pump is behind the stator on the rh side, underneath fan cover or water pump if yours is liquid Cooled.

Or did you mean your water pump is leaking??

Let me see if I can get a pic

The bike is a 08 90cc liquid cooled. Thanx for any help..

If you can race with out the oil injection. I would pull it plug it off on the engine and the intake and pre mix 32:1. other wise pull the water pump off and check it all over. Just my 2 cents

So then it sounds like its leaking somewhere from the oil resevoir? I have been thinking of premixing, so that would cure that issue?

Are you sure that isn't leaking from the exhaust pipe?

The oil looks black...Like it has been heated...

Thats my bet exhaust leak. Oil looks too black and sticky to be from the oil injection. You need to put washers on those exhaust bolts.

We had the same leak. Turned out to be from the exhaust. Put the header bolts back in with loctite..it helped, but it still leaked a little. 2nd time (about 2 months ago), put them back in with new bolts, a washer and a lock washer along w/ some high heat rtv on the end of the threads. So far, so good.
