HID lights installed charging problem

A friend of mine has just put on 3 35watt HID lights on his razor and it seems it is pulling the battery down. My question is, if he puts a larger battery in will that fix the problem or would he have to change the stator or the regulator or something along that lines. I hope this will be an easy fix. Your guys help would be greatly appreciated.
