i have a ktm 300 and there is antifreeze getting into the magnito. is this bad?

I too have a KTM 300 (great bike)... Based on your description, you may just have a bad cylinder gasket. The 1st thing to do, is to clean up the magneto and surrounding areas. Make sure everything is dry and run the bike for a short while. Recheck the level in the radiators, and check for fluid next to the magneto. Has the level of the antifreeze dropped? Is the magneto wet again? If yes, then I'd pull the top end, inspect the cylinder to make sure its not cracked. Replace the gaskets, and see if it still leaks.
