So im getting ready to replace the front bearings on my '04 350 rancher 4x4. I bought the moose kit so i could just do them all. Anybody got any tips before i start? I already have the wheels and brake drum off. The bearings have to be pressed off though right?

I have never had to take off the front bearings but I would say if you use a punch and a hammer and tap them out easily to not break anything you should be a fine. But pressing them out would be the safe way.

So i got the whole brake drum off. Does the spindle need to come off and then tap the bearings out the back?

Like i said i havent had the front end taken apart before. If you post a picture of what have you done i can help you out with the rest of the process, unless someone else can help you out.
