whats the top speed of a yamaha warrior about???

and if its slower than a 400ex's(which im sure it is), what can i put in the quad to make it go as fast as the 400???

bout 55 to make it as fast bore it out to a 400 and regear and add a pipe and filter

A bore kit is not going to get you to stay with a 400 on top speed. All a bore kit is going to do is make your get to your top speed faster. Which is a good thing, because the warrior is not a drag bike. But if you want to go faster than a 400, put 22's on the back, and change your spockets.

so should i have like 14 for the rear sproket, and like 35 for the front

my quad can keep up with a 400 until about his 4-5th gear, but thats just because im a way better rider, you can buy my quad then just put differnet sprockets on it n ur good to go

i have it geard down a lil for mx

yeah when I had my warrior. That is one of the best things it did was climb hills. It has a lot of bottom end grunt.

If you do get that kit be sure tell us all about it!

My buddy has a 10:8:1 piston in his Warrior. Its bored out twice over, has an all around cam, ported and polished head and a full race exhaust. It still doesnt have any bottom end "snap"

Its still slower than dog turds. I dont know much about Warriors, maybe his jetting is off. (hes actually not impressed with the mods either.)

Yeah because mine had pretty good bottom end. I would think a warrior with that much stuff would be pretty fast?

For all that he did to it, I was a little nervous and thought he would be able to keep up with me somewhat at least. Of course, the reason its bored twice is because he blew it up the first time. He didnt take his time to rejet it properly and had to sink another 600 clams into it. LOL

Yea, I would lean towards that his Warrior just isnt jetted properly.
