Going to st. anthonys this year for the firs time. Anyone have any advise? Went to little sahara last year and loved it.

Little sahara in utah or oklahoma? well if you like giant bowls and huge hills to climb then I hear st. anthony is the place to go. I havent been yet but were planning a trip for july

We stayed at a place called "sand hills resort". It was OK, but if I were you, and next time I go, stay at the next camp area south west from there. It's right next to a little lake and more central to the dunes. From the place we were at, it was a long ride to all of the main attractions.

that is what alot of people said so I booked at the middle one desser oasis

I might be a little late here but this is ver good advice! and when you leave the gate of the camp ground SW of there go left, there isn't much to do to the right, just alot of lava rock waiting to mangle your ride! You will have tons of fun!

Are there any rules on the atv's like spark arrestors or any thing like that

Posted by: smelly$cat

Probably, not sure though. I never saw a ranger the whole time I was there though. Maybe do a google search on St. Anthony's dunes and see if you can find a state page for it. Would probably have the rules etc... I saw lots of homemade creations that I doubt met any sort of db limit.

When I was out there I rented because I didn't own my shee yet, I rented a kfx 400, that had a non spark arrestor FMF, and two ltr 450s that had the baffles pulled out, so I doubt they keep track of noise and spark arrestor laws much

where do I get gas when I am at dessert oasis

Posted by: smelly$cat

I think you'll just have to bring gas in or go to the local town there to get more. It's not far at all. (couple miles).
