I have sand skates and like them. They may be to much with your mods. I like v paddles more than straight paddles. You should check out the Maxxis roosters they look sweet. I have heard good and bad things about Gecko's. Go for something with eight or less paddles and not too deep.

turbo paddles or 7 paddle haulers would be perfect the others just suck.

What about paddel masters? They look really cool! Good/bad/ugly?
Got a great deal..

Paddle Masters are very very heavy. They are that way because they are also ment for mud/snow use.

how will they fair at the dunes? I'll bring my haulers just in case.

I have paddle masters and they worked great for me. I have never ridden on anything else but it was a huge improvement over stock. Overall I was very happy with them but I will probably end up selling them soon to get some haulers when I get a bore kit.
