Both have free mods. Modded air box, silencer out and jetted properly. Hope this helps anyone looking to know the difference in the motors. The sx is mine and the xc belongs to my friend walt. Both rip setup like this. Though in the open straights the sx will pull away.

wonder if alot of the top end difference is in the carbs? since the 525 only has the 39 vs the 505 with the 41.
