Is there a simple fix to a leaking primer plunger? Mine is leaking at a slow rate but I want to fix the problem. This is the manual primer on the side of my Rancher carb used for starting a very cold engine.

is the rubber torn.....try rubber cement

I could be torn, I am going to try to take it off tomorrow and see if I can locate the problem.
