I wanted to know if I bought a 85 LT250R frame I wanted to build it from the ground up does every year of the LT250R engine fit in the frame. Thanks

no, 85 and 8 had a different frame, 87 may have had a different frame but i believe its the same as the 88-90 frame. then 91 and 92 is also a different frame.

The frames on the quadracer are different
85-86
87-90 (relocated front shock mounts and new engine mounts for the power valved engine)
91-92 (changed linkage on rear shock and move airbox. The 87-up engine will fit in this frame).

If planing on building a quadracer up talk to HSD for the best suspension set-up. They redesigned the front end so it like the 250r. Their website is www.hsdracing.com
