What has to be done to fit the 400ex IMS heel guards on the 300ex. We have IMS pegs. I have seen a guy on this site that has done it. Wondered if anybody knew.

I put tusk heel guards for a trx 450 on my sons 08 300ex it took a couple hours and saw but the outcome was worth the effort.

We have it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We used IMS 300ex pegs and IMS 400ex heel guards. The guards bolt right to the pegs and the the mounts that bolt to the frame have to be cut (shortened). That is it. Very simple. Bolt your guards to your pegs and it will be very clear to see how much to cut the brace.

Nope! Go For It Graphics. They are now 4 years old and look as good as the day we got them. The picture doesn't do the bike justice. The T.T. set up was a one time deal to race a national that was close to home.
