I am thinking about buying this but not sure if the price is good.
The dealer will deliver to me at a cost of 7100 OTD for a new left over 08XC. I currently have a 08 KFX450 with a pipe and power commander and woundering if it is worth it. Any more 525xc around?

Not a bad deal when list price was 9k. You won't be sorry you bought one. If you want more power then bolt on a 540 or 570 kit.

No more 525 left, he has three of the 450s but now only one left. I am going to contact him this afternoon and see what I can do. If I dont take it you want it? I think he will deliver to you as well.

For the price of the 525, buy the 450XC. Then stick the 540 big bore and 8/06 factory cams and it'll be kicking most every other modded 450's

There is a dealer in CT that had a listing for a 525xc in the New Haven section. Said only used once, had full skids, shock covers and handguards. Pic looked new. Had it listed for $6999

Did the deal on the KTM at 7100 OTD. He is going to update the jetting for me to make it run better and not so lean. I am picking it up on friday.

Thanks bro, cant wait until tomorrow. I have been through 4 atvs in the last two season.

What are you guys doing for the jetting issue? what works best I am at almost sea level.

Also where can I find some info on adjusting the suspension.

Finally picked it up on Friday morning. The dealer sold me full KTM nurfs for 220, Z rated orange chain for 90 and some other smaller stuff. He did the jet change for me from 170 to 175 for nothing.

I took the thing out today for about 5 hours after adjusting the suspension some what and this thing is the best thing since sliced bread. I had two 08 KFX450s a 07 Raptor 700 and other quads and this thing is by FAR the best quad I have owned. The suspension is UNREAL I could never hit the whoops we have in 4th gear on my KFX this thing just floats over them. Motor is very strong on top. I have nothing but great things to say about this quad.
If anyone is considering any other quad out there forget about it and find your self a 08 450 XC.

That dealer still has one 08 450 xc left at 7100 dollars.

Best money ever spent.

Bob is great guy, he road races and races motocross. I dont think there is a huge difference between the 525 and 450. I ran almost every 450 except for the yamaha last week and it was easy as pie to clean up. Dont heistate just go get the last one as there are not that many left over and even the once that are at the dealers are still a lot more expensive.

I love my, compare to my 08 KFX450 its a dream bike. By no means the KFX sucks, I smoke my friend with a LTR in the open stuff but get killed in the more technical stuff as he has years of racing experiance.

Now that is up to you, I got the 450 because I want to run in the 450c class this year along with some GNCC events. How big is the power difference? I would spend the 550 bucks on getthing some aftermarket stuff. Ask Bob to sell you the parts at cost.

He sold me full ktm nurf bars for 220, z rated orange chain for 97 bucks plus all the little ktm covers at cost as well.

I would buy that 450 for $7100 and put the 540 in it. But all depends on what you're doing with her. Racing in 450 class?

If you are new to the ATVs period then get the 450 and have him sell you the nurf bars at cost. I have been riding for years and my last two were kawi kfx450 which has a strong motor. You will definity not mis any power as this thing is very strong. This will also let you race in the 450 class in Wildwood this year. There are two races one in May one is Sep and it alot of fun.
