I have a leak at the water pump weep hole. We have changed the 2 O rings and 2 shaft seal rings as well as the gasket and the water pump cir clip and I still have a leak. Anyone have any ideas on what is going on and how to stop the leak.

Thank you

I've been having the same problem since puting in a new cam in.Going to get new orings an seals and try some yamabond with it ,hope it works.

Did you use the seal instalation tool on the end of the cam when you put the new seals in? It is a cone shaped plastic piece that keeps the sharp edges from cutting the seal lips.

I had this issue with my old 660 Raptor — different makes, I know — and found no solution with replacing every part inside the water pump, until I bought a complete water pump unit from Yamaha and just installed it.

Well....what was it... how'd you fix it??

We used another set of seals and o rings because we couldn't tell what was wrong. We must of had a bad one or something. I am not really sure but the third time was the charm.
