I have a buddy that is building a 92' 250x but neither one of us can figure out how to put this thing back in time. Trying to find out if anybody knows before we have to go out and buy a service manual for it.

make sure you are at TDC by the marks on the flywheel and the make sure the cam lobes are facing down, two marks on the cam sproket should line up with the cylinder head horizontally.
