Hey I got my son a 2 stroke mongoose 50 which was converted to a 70. Its still got the oem breather box. I want to do an open air filter like K&N. Any suggestions on how to do this and a good filter to run. Do I need a prefilter with this? Thanks Rowdy.

The Uni style filter with an Outerwares prefilter would work very well, complete set-up is very inexpensive and performs great, also easy to service. installs in seconds, size depends on what carb you have .

I used to have a Kymco mongoose 50 two stroke and I used the Uni w/outerwear setup. Had to rejet but it worked great.
