Taking a poll what are your thoughts on the NEW MAIER SHINEY PLASTIC verse the FULL BORE. Price, how dose it hold up. ect.
Posted by: Scott400EX
I dont have new plastic but i will be getting some pretty soon.
I dont see why the fullbore costs 550 bucks!!!!!!! price wise i would go with the maier if you ride a lot cause it will get scratched up.

Go for the fullbore. By how your bike sounds in your sig, another $550 isnt gonna hurt you any. I love the fullbore on my EX, and will have some on my R, too

fulbore is nice for the price but is extremly expensive i feel bad for you if you crack it or sctatch it

does anyone have any pics of the new shiny mair plastic in white? If so that would be great.

i think the better question is, if you have anything else to do with the money you would save by getting the maier, but it sounds like you have what you need, so i would get the fullbore.

it sounds liek u can afford fullbore in yor sig but they say it scratches easier.
where in north nj do u live?

id say maier all the way, like someone else said its gonna scratch anyway.
besides i think the new maier shinny stuff looks just as good, i think the reason why some people think fullbore is better is becasue it cost more.

maier shinny yellow. it looks great. and it came with the holes aready drilled unliked the old ones. its seems to be built good.
im getting some for my 250r... either red or blue. what graphics would look good with red frame, red plastics? thanks!

Ok guys, I'm getting a vibe that if i have gone this far spend the extra cash and go full bore. I just wanted your imput on the goods. You know how it all holds up. LOL

Stock for me. I can buy three sets of stock for the price of Fullbore and guess what? It fits!

Full bore just looks so damn sweet. A friend of mine has black full bore, and after one season, it has the usual scratches...especialy where you boot rubs. I don't own a set, but i don't think they scratch any easier than other plastics. Also, he has black which is really easy to see the scratches.

hey guys, just like to say whats up, im new to this forum.
the fullboreson my 86' ESR 310R here have been on it for about a year, and even after being scratched they can still be made just about as bright as the day you bought them. I actually dont know what they look like right out of the box because they were on the bike when i purchased it about 7 months ago, but they are shiny as h3ll!! pics dont do it justice. The fronts are the fullbores with the radiator shrouds which retail for 350$$!!
hehe please ignore any of the "rusty" bolts, i hopefully wont have those ones much longer.

I love my fullbore. It is sweet looking and I actually think it scratches less. I ran an entrie XC series that was very muddy this year and it still looks great. All plastic is going to scratch.
I want to knkow where the Maryland guys is buying three sets of stock for the price of fullbore. Hook me up with that plan if it is true.
