My dad grenaded his 660 Raptor and has asked me to try and find him a decent used motor. Will a 700 fit in a 2002 raptor?

thanks

anything is possible but i highly doubt it would be easy. raptor motors are plenty plentiful, found a few on ebay. i didnt see any on the classified forums here though. just stick with an 02+ and you should be fine. how bad is his motor? probably not hard to repair and replace pieces and parts of his motor.

lost all the oil out the bottom during a dune ride. Not sure exactly what happened. Took it to the dealer in Vegas and $4K to rebuild.

ouch that kind of leaves the amount of damage potentially done wide open. ya can probably get another motor for a grand realistically. i got my last one off of ebay some years ago.

700 motor won't fit without a bunch of work. Everything is different including the wiring, because the 700's are fuel injected.

Did ya find a motor yet? I have one I've been thinkin about selling.
