well, i have been debating about the 2 for a while now. i am lost. i am a honda man to the core but i have to admit, the z or kfx is a good bike. i mean for all you who have owned both the z or kfx against the good ol' 400EX can you answer these questions? which is better powerwise compared to MY 400EX witn the mods i have. thats mostly the only thing holding me back from getting a z. is the power i have on tap rite now better than what you would get with a stock z or kfx? pipes are too expensive for me so i can't just go out and buy one. man, in the atv world, you really don't know. i saw a kfx on a run yesterday and i fell in love with it. such a nice quad....

from what ive seen the z and kfx are very good quads. get what will make you happy

I've ridden one, I didn't like it at all, Too touchy , wheelies too easily to ride right, Also feels very unstable.
The power isn't as great as its made out to be.

or white...If you like it, buy it. Thats what I did. I had an EX with mods, test rode a Z, the next week my EX was up for sale.

another thing to, if you plan to race, kawasaki will support you, however, only at the pro level.....but something to consider.

FreestyleExrider, you said in another post that the only thing holding you back from buying a Kfx was the supposed weak axle. BTW i'm just pointing out a fact.

i am very happy with my Z400. The reverse is real nice on the tight trails.

After i spent more time on one, i changed my mind.
