with the tag t2 or the pro taper handlebars do u need a special mounting kit with the bars or can u just use the stock mounts

if u need a special one what is it called

yes, you need bigger clams, they are called a lot of stuff but mostly "big bar clamps". The bar size is 1 1/8, so you can only get that clamp size, not 7/8.
