since the Ds450 uses the honda bolt pattern, could I just get some honda wheels and use different lugnuts?

On the front the hubs use a really weird stud that has different threads than most lug nuts. In order to not use the stock lug nut you have to press the stock studs out and put new ones in.

i just have honda wheel on with stock ds hubs.

Yeah, I can't remember if the stock lug nuts are flat or tapered, but as long as you use wheels that are the same the stock lug nuts will work fine.

where can I get tapered lugnuts for the DS? The stock lugs are flat and I'll need tapered ones if I get a pair of itp beadlocks that I've been looking at.

I dont know that you can get tapered lug nuts for the weird stock threads. Maybe if you measure the threads and figure out what they are you can try and find some somewhere.
