I just ordered PEP ZPS...16" shocks yesterday. I was probably going to go with +2 Houser...But I thought I remembered reading on here that there is a +2 a-arm that will take a L/T shock. If this is the case, I may do that, because, the L/T is the same price too. That way if I really do get serious into MX, all I have to do is sell my +2's, buy +3's and get my shocks revalved. Does anyone have ANY info on this? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.....Sharpshooter, if you read this......shut up, before you start :blah

Well, the 16" isn't considered a long travel shock. That would be the 19"er. Some of the arm builders (not sure which) do offer a longtravel a-arm set up designed for 16 inch shocks. That makes it an untrue longtravel set up, but hey if it works...kudos!

Well what I was wondering is, is there a +2 a-arm that will take a 19" shock? If there is I think I may change my order...because they are the same price as 16"

you can get a-arms from anyone in plus 2

Most LT's are +2". They just mount the shock lower on the a-arm to accomidate the extra 3" of shock (look at houser LT's and Roll lobo arms).

most long travels are plus 3, its kinda weird, they make plus 1 for harescramble guys, and plus 3"s, but no plus 2

I cant say for the other mfg's but houser deff makes LT +2 a-arms, and I almost got them before I decided to get the +1.

So I could run +2 Housers and 19" PEP?? 440?????

Cant see why not, just need to get the true LT +2 from Houser and the 19" elka's work fine on mine.

i dont think houser makes plus 2. when i ordered my front end from them, i ordered a plus 2, got it, put my tires on and i got offset wheels. it was 51" wide i measured them and they are plus 3 look on their site otherwise

I would call them and if they dont have the +2 LT please ask when they stopped making them. You may want to confirm what you have also cause the exact length is not +1 +3 etc.
