Removing reverse

I need to remove the reverse in my little brothers quad(2005 Kasea 90) so I can intall an aftermarket exhaust. Does anybody know If I will need to change any parts when I remove it? I live far from him so when I go I want to get it done in a weekend. I would really appreciate any help. Thank you.
