Can an aftermarket clutch lever be used with the stock perch on an '03 Z400? I am looking to put a shorty clutch lever on my quad but I don't really want to remove all the switches and starter button. I realize the stock parking brake will not work.

Just about any perch you find will work. just take the clutch safety switch and cut it off and then solder the wire togther. this eliminates it and cleans up the handlebars a little more. the starter button cluster doesn't have to be removed.
