So i went outside today to give the dale some attention because i havent ridden it since i lifted my xj and i rode for like 2 min and noticed that the thing was extremely hot. I pulled it over to my garage and the pipe was cherry red and did cool down for a while. i know at night you can see the headers glow but when i mean cherry it was bright as hell. Does anybody know what could cause this?

Generally red hot exhaust is from running super lean. Could be caused by an exhaust valve not seating from a sticky valve bucket?
I've only owned my Dale for a year so I am just guessing.
I would post up on cannondaleriders.com and see what the experts have to say

Could be a the battery, also you might need to set the throttle and reload the map. Did you have to use a battery charger to start it?

yeah i had to slap the charger on it. how do you reload the map??

you will need the app. I really suggest going to cannondaleriders.com like mentioned above.
The cannondales do need calibrated now and then to be kept up.
Mine never failed me a single time though, I did keep the battery fresh before I rode.

try puttin a new battery in it first because if the battery is not good then it can make it run lean because the ecu is not staying on the entire time
