I have deleted the main wiring harness and have started wiring it the other way.

red/white of stator to red/white cdi
black/red stator to blk/red cdi
Orange wire of stator to pos side of coil
Do I need to ground any other wires from stator.

Now with the aftermarket kill switch. The long wire is the ground and the other goes to the POS side of coil? Do I just combine the orange and kill switch wire and connect them to the coil?
