that is the only mojave that has ever impressed me...

This is the one that really impressed me. Not knocking lurches but Greenstreaks one had a CWR370, numerous frame mods, and 250r geometry. Its a shame you cant fin his build up anymore it was very impressive.

Here's my old CWR 330 Mojave. I sold it in January. Hopefully I'll buy it back some day and park it. Way too much money was spent on this thing..

That 03 looks real clean, I like the way you cut your fenders.
It would look good if you paint your A-arm's and swing arm black.
Also look for a smoothie hood, I just bought one and it looks sharp!( I think I bought the last one from Dennis Kirk
, but you can get one on ebay or maier might still have a few on close out.)
Dont get a Screened hood they look like crap!

If your using the stock air box(which I bet he is) your going to need the screened hood
...air intake on the stocker is right by the headlight, I like the stock snorkle so I just ripped out the headlight and the rubber bessle underneath and I actually noticed the power difference.
One of these days I will dump out my k&n for the stock air box and put on a clamp on since the stock air boot is such a pain

Thanks, I actually just got my smoothie hood in and installed, I actually cut and shortened my snorkle tube to where it points straight forward along the bottom edge of the front fender, kinda like ram air, looks so good with the flat hood, I will try and gets some better pics of it outdoors later this evening.

Man that looks good, all you have to do is cut back the snorkel a little to get the hood on.
Posted by: 07350R
Yep, used a razor knife and sliced off the part that elbos upward, works perfectly.

well yesterday I primered my frame and I cant think of a color to paint it. It has red plastics and a black smoothy hood so green would look funny, I have seen mojos with red frames and blue frames and wasn't impressed. Orange like Lurches would be cool but with the red plastics......I dont know guess I confused (or I'm on here wayyyy to early 6:39 were I am)

Well no ideas but in the spring before the season starts I'm going to use either green or white plastics and purple powder coating on the frame and swinger, I'm getting aftermarket a-arms so I'll probly just leave those black.

sounds retro but cool.
I think I'll just do a silver frame like it used to be, but Im open to any segesstions(sp?).

Get a light silver hammer tone for a base, then use some candy red( Testors candy model car paint will work if you are doing it with rattle cans) Then use a real good clear coat to protect it.

Well I put my engine in last night, now its the fun part of trouble shooting my carb (and putting my swinger back together
). Anyways ill post a pic of my progress soon.

So are you painting the carb? I would completely disasemble it to where it's only the body and tape off the gasket surfaces before you paint it.

Oh sorry for the confusion, I said that I'm trouble shooting my carb. Trying to figure out exactly whats wong. It sat in some guys yard for a while- with gas in it- so it realy needs a new carb, but I'm too cheap a** to fork out the cash. just have to fix one thing at a time untill it runs good.

I have a stock Mojave carb I would be glad to sell. I'll pull the bowl off and make sure everything is good. Price would be reasonable, I understand how money situations are right now, trust me.

I was able to take it for a quick ride today. It did pretty good in the fresh snow we just got.
