My belt indicator light is on, and the manuel says that the adjustment must be done by a dealer. Does anyone know if this is right, and if not, how to adjust the belt?

I have inspected the belt, and the belt looks it great condition. The manuel says that the light will come on after 100 hours of use. Can the light just be reset?

yes it can be reset. It's an internal timer in the CDI and really has nothing to do with the belt
