hey....

where is the closest dunes from minnesota? (besides Idaho, i've already been there)

And for the dunes in michigan my dad said that there is a big line or a waiting period to get in the dunes....how big is the line or the waiting period?

I think there is Silver Lake in michagan. I am not sure though cause I don't live anywherre near you.

The lines are not really that bad at silver lake MI. The only new thing is that there is a voucher system for holidays and weekends. It really all depends on when you go there. If it is not like 4th of july or something, you won't have any wait. Even if it is a holiday, as long as you are there before 1 or 2, you will get in for a whole day of fun. If I were you, I would catch the car ferry in wisconsin, and it will take you to ludington. From there you are less than twenty minutes from the dunes. They are awesome, just make sure you have a spark arrestor, or it will be a bi@tch getting in.
