Ok guys lets try this again, got the clutch prob solved got both bikes running. Started each one up let them get hot, then cool down 5 times each. Went to the track today roll them out the trailer choke both of them they start, I let them run for about 30 sec turn choke off, one runs just fine the other dies, and wont restart, when it did fire it would back fire through the air filter. Any ideas on this one?

My guess would be timing or valve clearance on the intake.

Sheared the key way off, the crank was spinning inside the flywheel.

Bummer, maybe the flywheel not torked to specs? Did that do any thing bad to the motor?

I guess we got lucky, no internal damage.

i need help changing clutches and springs have two bikes wanted to know how you adjusted them so you could do neutral drops?

I used Honda fibers, typhoon metal's, and typhoon's CR3 springs, once the fibers got worn in a little, they adjusted fine. But the honda fibers did wear the clutch basket down. one bike i used the setup that i mentioned, and the other bike I only changed the springs.

how do you know where to put the little arm that goes on the shifter shaft and conects to another piece that fits in the clutch basket and the side cover? it fell out when i took the cover off and not sure how to align it since it can go any position on that shaft.

you have to play with it, its not quit 12 and six (straight up and down) and its not 11 and 5, but inbetween there. once you put it on move the shifter all the way up, and all the way down, and make sure nothing is hitting.

hey, thanks got one done wheelies in second now doing shifter drops, had a hard time getting adjusted so he could hold shifter up do holeshot but i think i got it going to start on other one this weekend using honda fibers and cr3 springs works great. hope the other one works as well.

We had trouble holding up in second too. We then went to holding down from third gear. Shift up to third then when you are ready to start you shift down to second and it is much easier to hold that way.
