Who all is going?

We're going, Tay, Johnny, and Chance will all be on teams. Chance is going to run the kids race on the 90's, Tay will run in the Jr. class and Johnny is still to decide what class he will run. We are hoping to get everything finalized in the next week or so and get our entries sent in.

I'm going to start some smack by saying FD Racing will dominate the Utility class!

Posted by: Pappy

I will be there......Nikon's at the ready

Lazy M Racing with Justin, Grant, and me(Kelly) will be there in the C class!

Also my younger brother(Spenser) is in the Ironman class.

The track is located in Carlisle, IA, which is about 10 miles SE of Des Moines.

I'm not sure where the best place to stay is, but maybe someone from that area can chime in on that.

Posted by: the Z Man

There are plenty of hotels near there, its about 10 miles from the airport, plenty of bars and places to eat, everyone should find its more than accomidating.
Can't wait to meet you all,
Z.

Your thinking of Jason McCoy,....hauling ***** on that Prairie he / we built.
I've since bought it, as he retired for the season

10 hours to drive is not so bad, if you want to race.
Back in 04 Shawn & I drove 20 hours to North Carolina GNCC, he DNF'd & I got stuck several times on the course

Just to turn around & drive another 20 hours home

Jerry

I hope people show up and take advantage of this. The rep should be there will the all the new lithium ion powered tools. I hope to use this as a proving ground to get these larger companies not normally associated with atv racing, to see this a viable market for their advertising money.

About 2 miles south of the track by my house someone hit a 170+ class buck with their vehicle. I drove by as they were sawing off the antlers.

The track held up very well considering we got several inches of rain before the race. Usually this weekend is nice and very mild and is my favorite weekend to tag a good buck from the race track.

On 65 (I think, right before track exit) I saw a huge 10 point bedded down about 50 yards off the road..easily 160 class. He is lucky i'm not a poacher

I know right where you are talking. There are a few real big boys that run around over there but they don't allow hunting.

Posted by: JGlaze

I just want to say that this was probably the most fun ATV race I've done. Good job to everyone that was working and supporting the event. I'll definately be doing this again next year. If you didn't go you lost out on a great time!
