Did I make a mistake?
I bought a nice Cannondale quad from a friend. Had problems shortly after. Can't find anyone to work on it. None of the shops want to touch it. What can I do? DId I make a mistake spending $5000 on a quad that I can't ride? Anyone have a suggestion?

Canniboomer is in Battle ground washington. How close are you. Owning a cannondale pretty much means doing all work yourself or spending a lot of time and money traveling/shipping. Sounds like you didnt do your research before purchasing. Parts and knowledge are plentiful at the Cannondale web sites. Cannondaleriders.com is the tech web site and cannondaler.com is the motorcycle web site.

Your right, I didn't do my research. I bought from a friend and I believed his story. I've been impressed everytime I ride it and its probably worth having if its running well. I got ahold of ATK and they got me in touch with a person in BattleGround Washington but they have a different name than what you gave. I'll check the site and I thank you for the information.

Definitely get on cannondaleriders.com. Read a lot, post some questions.
All of the site vendors are great, Canniboomer in particular.
They have all been more than fair in pricing also.
Once you have the updates covered, they are as reliable as any other quad. Just more fun!

cannondaleriders.com for sure!
they are incredible machines. I had one, never had a single issue with it other than the coil going out, I fixed that easily with the help I got by posting the issue on the site above. I would buy another one for sure.
I think the guy I sold it to had issues though, I think I remember seeing him offering to part it out on the web?

I found a guy through ATK that works on Cannondale quads. He's at Battleground, WA. He seems like he knows what he's doing, and as important, he seems to be honest. Looks like I will get my problems worked out afterall.
Anyone heard of Dave Mueller? I'd appreciate any feedback.

Dave is Canniboomer AKA Canno-Moto.
Great guy!

You are working with one of the best. If he was in my area, I would still ride cannondales.

Brad Oakley is in Salt Lake where I live. He keeps mine running when ever I have a problem. I know my limits. My Cannondale is a fire breathing dragon. I love it!! The guy I bought if from was not honest with me but Brad was able to fix it better than new.

That seems to be my case as well. My "friend" gave me a "good deal". Dave tells me the machine is worth half what I paid, but he is getting me squared away, althought its taking so many weeks. Looks like I won't even get my quad back before summer is over.

You will be happy with it once it is done, sounds like you just had an unfortunate circumstance. I never had any issue with mine, I just dont keep anything longer than a couple months because I get bored with toys and need something different.
Let us know how it works for you once you get it back, I am certain you will love the way it jerks your arms out of socket!
