what's the projected $$$ figure to build your motor?

Posted by: kris32775

Were not quite sure yet It should be well under a 1000.00 thats including removing the reverse gears. That saves about 5 to 7 lbs. Oh we already have the pipe cdi larger carb and intake clutching and so on.

what did you do to the motor?

Ok, I have a 90X collecting dust while my son rides his new DRX90. The Can-Am goes up for sale as soon as I get time to post some PICs and figure a price. Any interesting results in your motor build that might tempt me to keep it around a little longer?

If we can't sell it for a decent amount I'm thinking of sticking a Jap 2-stroke 85cc on it (YZ, CR, RM ??) Then it will be a true screamer.

BTW...........the DRX 90 has been much much better out of the box for us than the CanAm.

Hey guys sorry to keep u waiting we were on vacation. so here it is we did the largest bore without resleaving. we did the head. changed some internals also. we are having an ignition problem, can't get the bike to rev over 10000. should have a pvi set up soon. what we are trying to do is put together a relativly low cost kit a starter kit lets say. then move up to a larger kit. then a full blown screamer. we will be testing the rest of the year. i will keep you informed as we make progress. any questions feel free to call and if wan't i can get you in touch with the builder. thanks kris 267-716-2693
