My buddies and I are heading to silver lake october 16-19 for a 4 day weekend. Should be about 4-6 of us hopefully. Anybody gonna be up there around then?

We're planning on it for sure. I have a new 250R which is red and we'll have 2 other bone stock looking 86 250R's...both white. Might have a blue stretched shee with us too...

We will have 2 yellow 400ex, 1 red banshee, and a white yzf450. We will arrive on thursday.

I would think attendance will be LOW. It's getting a bit chilly. Hunting season, etc.

ok ill be there on sunday... i have to go to minnesota for work for two weeks SON OF A

o well, it shouldnt be bad i was up there about 2 weeks ago and it wasnt crowded at all on sat and sunday we were pretty much by ourselves

I went today! Ruugh sand, wet flats, flooded beach, sore feet, 65 and sunny, roughly 10 vehicles in the dunes at all times....

Awesome afternoon.. Leftovers from everyones fri/sat fun basically...hehe Nobody was racing...

This pinger PULLS nicely, jumps nicely, and soaks up the truck ruts nicely! We'll find some races in 2 weeks for sure..

Its still flooded up there, It was flooded back in june when I was there. Hopefully I get my quad runnin good, having troubles with my edlebrock.

We are leaving lafayette Indiana tomarrow at 8ish hope to be at the dunes by 1 or 2. C ya up there. Be driving a grey ford superduty with black wheels.

Good stuff...It just rained all day today basically so I'm sure there will be damp spots. 3 weeks ago was really wet on the beach/flats...

We're loading up tonight, drive safe, and we'll see ya.

We went at the end of sept. No one there really and the weather was perfect!

Just got back...perfect weekend. Busy with nice weather saturday and overnight we had a LOT of wind that completely smoothed the sand out. SMOOOTH wide open powerslides are priceless. It's like you're riding on water.

The wind kicked up a bit while riding also and nearly smoothed over your tracks before you came back around to see them.

Stroker81 and his buddies looked like they were having a good time. Nice to meet ya Mike. I didn't hear if that was your first time there or not..

Yes it was a fun weekend, even though I didnt get to ride my quad it had troubles and I could not get it to run right. Rode my buddies 400ex. Over though great time just a few minor problems, yzf 450 blew a shock, buddies banshee lost a carrier nut that caused the blot to fall out into the sprocket but no problem. Anybody see that grey dodge try to go threw the water hole and didnt make it. He just got it on tuesday and hydro locked it on saturday. Sucks to be him. I have been there once before denny. That is a nice 250r you got. hopefully next time I get up there ill have my quad running and a few more go fast parts on it. It was nice to meet you as well.
