What shocks should i get for my new a-arms? I need Long travel. Also what should i do with the stock rear shock until i can get a new one?

man, thats like asking Ford or Chevy! Your going to get goods and bads about both. I have a set of elka's. I love them. For how they are done for me....worth every penny. I DON'T KNOW SQUAT about the other two, so i'm not even going to give an opinion about them.
About the rear. As a "i don't have enough money to buy a rear shock because the front were so freaking expensive" fix, if you do get zero preload front shocks, all you have to do is adjust down the preload on the rear shock. Thats all i did, and it seems to work just fine

Do a search on any of those Shocks or just for Shocks and you won't believe what you will find. You won't go wrong with any of those though.

PEP!
The only downside is the wait. and they dont use works bodys

I jsut bought some PEP limited mass with rezzies there due in in a week or so. Ill let ya know how they do. PEP is supposed to be one of the best shocks made. All the ones u mentioned are good but i tink i may be a little biased cause i am going to own PEP

pep or tcs ..they both have been around longer than elka and have there game down.

If I had the money to buy any set of shocks I wanted, PEP ZPS would be the ones I'd get....sure it takes a little while to get to you BUT ITS WELL WORTH IT.

Although I havent tried PEP or Elka when the I know a suspension guy who's been around along time and he called Elka to try their shocks and they asked HIM what to do in terms of setup. I think their product is good and will be better with time. PEP is very good, from what I hear. I ordered a set of TCS tripples w/o/ rezzies (to be added later) and got them in a little over a week...pretty good I think. I put them on with my TBR Products +3+1 a-arms and... perfection, they were spot on. Everyone I know who's ordered them says the same so I guess I'm a little biased. I also tried their zero preload setup on a Bomb DS650 and it was awesome. Just my .02cents

what kind of riding. for MX: PEP or TCS. for XC: Elka. If ya look in the magazines, all the bikes have TCS (unless its a racers). I think i will go w/ TCS once i get the $$$$.
