Presently I have a 400ex and love it. Looking for another quad. I was thinking about a Cannondale for me and hand the 400 down to the girlfriend. I was just curious what are the issues that need to be updated. I heard the crank bearing is a problem that was resolved by putting a LTR bearing in it? Thanks for the help.

Hi,

You are close, they found that the stock rod bearing was the problem, so almost all rebuilders use the bearing from the z400. Fits right up and works great.
