I have a 2007 KFX700. I recently bought some sand paddles for it, ITP SandStars.When I ride with them,there is a terrible clanking sound coming from the transmission area when stopping. This does not happen with the factory Holeshots, just with the paddles. Does anyone know what causes this, and how to correct it?

It's just the sand paddles causing that... no big worry.

I have the same problem, but it also doesnt want to go into reverse. Soon as the holeshots went back on...no problems at all. wadupwiddat??? Thats no good for my wife as she tends to get stuck in the sand and need reverse to get out sometimes.

make sure you are depressing the foot pedal.

I have the same thing and have also been told that it is normal. I am kinda anal though about knowing why....

Can anyone explain why?
