I have been having problems keeping my grips tight. I have tried almost all of the ideas that I have read here. Then cleaning the garage the other day I found a can of 3M Trim adheasive. So I gave it a try. Well I have had it on for about a week now and the grip hasen't moved yet. It seems to stuck on pretty good.
I just thought I would pass it on.

I use the Honda Grip Cement and works fine for me....did you try that?

No I haven't tried that. I haven't even seen it at the Honda shop. I have tried Scott glue, Yamabond, rubbing alcholl, spit, starting fluid, all would work for a while. Some lasted longer then others. Renthal was working the best for me but after about a month of riding it would come unglued also. Who know maybe this will do the same, I thought since I had a can of it I would give it a try.

my renthals grip glue has stayed on since i got my quad, and i ride everyday, if you put alot on it should stay, but it also depends on the texture of the grips

spray paint works good too. but you usually get paint on the outside of the grips.

Yes, it is a yellow mixture. I have seen it in a metal tube, but what I had was in a spray can.
