I just went through a back brake with very low hours. Ive read some others had this problem. Also might want to get a new grab bar cause my flag holder broke off with about 2 minutes into a ride. When i looked closer I noticed it was only welded on 1 side. Ive noticed a lot of poor craftsmanship and petty shortcuts on this bike and getting tired of fixing stuff that shouldnt go wrong. Guess its what i get for buying a first year model.

Can-Am made new brake pads that dont wear as fast or you can buy aftermarket DP ones. The rear grab bar is also gonna different on the next batch made.

Not many quads have a very strong flag mount

Very true. Can Am changed their brake pad part number and that usually means they altered the product.

well im going to the dunes this weekend for the first time. what are you guys doing for a fix on the dunes 'IF' it breaks?

The new brake pads are on back order right now but they should be shipped anyday now. And for the grab bar problem, some companies make a bracket that clamps around the grab bar that holds the flag.

i just replaced my rear pads with a set on rockymountainatv for 15 bucks, and theyve lasted for a month so far with no signs of wear.

Here is the new superseded part number for can-am pads 705600711 but they wont be available until June 9th. Im waiting for my DP pads I ordered to come in that I ordered from Parts Unlimited. I work at a dealer so im not paying full price from rocky mountain.

I had to zip tie mine to the heal guard and it actually worked pretty good.
