I jhave noticed that my son's mongoose 50 has alot of "clunking sounds coming from the quad as he rides across the yard. It resembles a shock bottoming out type of sound. Just wondered if this was normal or should I look for some problem? Thanks.

I would make sure that everything was tight. (shock bolts, swingarm pivit bolt ect.)I would also check the chain. If it is loose it will slap the frame by the rear motor mount.

Thanks for the reply! I think the chain just might bhe the issue. The noise has gotten a little worse lately and I did notice the chain looked more loose than usual yesterday. I'll try tightening it and see what happens. Thanks again!
