I removed the Baffle/Spark arrestor from the stock exhaust on my KFX and wondered if it is ok for me run it like that with the stock fuel controller or will it be too lean?

some early dyno tests showed a drop in horsepower without the peashooter using stock tune but a one to two horse increase with the peashooter in and the air box cover removed.

Thanks for the info. I plan on getting the HMF pipe and optimizer in a few months, once I get the suspension and handling where I like it. So anyone else know if I'll be too lean like it is? I'm thinking it'll be ok since im still running the airbox lid but I do want to be safe and not damage the topend.

Is pretty much everyone that runs the stock exhaust taking out the spark arrestor?
