Is there an easy motor you can bolt in or are there hybrid kits you can buy

i think ss440ex has one yz conversion kit left. im in the middle of converting my 400 to a yz 426. theres more work than you think invoved in swaping a motor. if you have the skills time and tools go for it. make sure the motors aligned and pritty much go from there.

i put a 250r engine in my 400ex chassis without any frame cutting. i just had to make brackets for the radiator and bend and trim the stock front 400ex mounts and cut the rear mount bushings and a bunch of small stuff and it works great.

took me awhile to get the 500 motor in mine...but this time no frame cutting!
