Hello all,

I just installed a new thumb throttle on my 400EX. It's the longer heavy duty thumb throttle (Modquad Thumb Throttle Lever Honda ATV)

It looks like it's going to be a good addition...if it didn't kill my quad a WOT!

My 400 EX does idle fine, and never had a problem.....
Here's what happening, Every time I punch it at WOT it dies. Now if I accelerate slowly, there’s no problem. but if I hammer down it dies.

Does any one have ideas what I need to do?

LOL.... I just couldn't leave it well enough alone.

After spending a few hours looking at different forums. I found some information about the Electronic Throttle Control (ECT) does anyone think this could be the issue?
