ok, I just picked up my kfx on sat. I was wondering when you change the oil, the oil drain bolts, do you need to get new crush ring, or rubber gasket, for the bolts?

you change the oil after your first 10 hours of riding, and im pretty sure you dont have to change the bolts when you drain the oil.

not the bolts. Usually oil drain bolts will have a rubber gaskit, or crush washer on them to prevent them from leaking.

well i cant recall if theres a oring on the bolts or not, but i will say be careful with the oil filter cover & rings on it, the first time i changed it i broke an o ring and chipped the cover part that goes around the filter, then went to start it and the oil was a pourin!! but i was acustiomed to the way you do it on the R so that was my excuse, so the only thing i could say is just first time in take your time with it...
