Dirt wheels must've tested the 700 on a soft sandy surace, becasue me and my dad race on blacktop every once in a while, and my kfx400 tops out at 77-78, and my dad is a 130 lbs heavier than me and he leaves me when I hit the top of 5th gear... My estimate is about 80-85mph on blacktop...

Stock with speed sensor plugged in the 700r will do somewhere around the mid 70's. My friend's piped 450r ran 77 beside a car. Not sure how accurate that is but I know my 700 blows past him when he is maxxed out. I went up one tooth on my front sprocket to a 15t. I'm pretty sure my motor work play's a big part in me blowing by my buddy. The 700r gets shakey when you run 80+ and it's not cool at all.
