On my outlaw the front cover is silver. I want to remove it and paint is black but i'm having problems removing it. Any info on how to remove it ? Thanks.

why not just buy a black one it will look better.

I have a friend who paints, plus the money it costs for 1 can go for bars or something else.

I wanted to do the same thing but can't figure out how to get just that silver piece off. I gave up for the time being but would really like to know how to get it off. It looks stupid in silver. Flat black would look much better...

There are tabs that need to be collapse. I used vise-grips too collapse then push out
