put a yz250 motor in a banshee frame? have a 97 banshee roller and a yz250 motor in good shape (92 i think) laying around.

just wondering if anyone has ever tried it. at first glance looks to require some fabrication but with the motor sitting here the price is right at least.

You could do it as long as you are a good welder/faber and are mechanically knowledgeable. Are you looking at doing this for the fun of making something up, or do you want it to be a good, fast runner?

really just because we have the motor laying around. i realize its not the best application. we thought it may be interesting to try

Yea it would be fun trying to fab it all up and everything. I haven't really seen anyone put a bike engine into a shee frame, so good luck!
