I'm wanting to in stall a fan on my hybrid, Just switched at the bars. no thermal

I'm wondering if I can just tap in at the stator, use a regulator rectifier and be good to go. Anybody have the answer?
Thanks
Mike

Not gonna work right for ya. Tapping into the stator is going to end up pulling power from the ignition, just like running a yfz with a dead battery and having the fan trying to kick on, it pulls current from the iginition causing the bike to run like Crap!

But on aother note. You might be able to do the WR426 stator and flywheel swap and make something of it. Its a common swap for running lights on the YZF's. Flywheel, stator, some mods to the wiring and a regulator is all thats really needed i think. Maybe you could use that power source for a fan? Just an idea, again not sure if it would work or not for ya.

Thank you
Justin
