how hard or easy is it to strip the valve cover threads?

Somehow 2 of mine got stripped and I don't even remember putting them in that tight ever.

edit* wait are you talking about the 4 covers over the valves or the the whole cylinder head cover?

4 covers over the valves i'm not talking ablot stripping the bolt threads but the threads for the valve covers in the motor.

i stripped one of mine out cuz like an idiot i tried loosening it while the engine was warm. had to get another cover

so the threads in the engine wont break/strip out before the covers do?
