start it or dont start it?

ok i just put my motor back in my frame tonight and put oil and such in it. how much coolant does it take? and how much do i put in it? also i had to oil cooler off and drained it . do i start it , let it run for liek 30 secs , then put more oil in to make up for the oil cooler , thanks

u can start it
let it run for about 5 min then check everything

ok also , i didnt have enough coolant to fill the rad. can i just run it ith that small bit in it? just let it run , not ride it .

Make sure you have 50/50 antifreeze and distilled water.

Has this motor ever been started before? or did you just take it out for a powdercoat or something? If the motors new crank it over with a drill to prime the head and such

yea we put soem stuff in it , it had been started but evrthing from the crank up is new. i started it and wow, the differnce in power is amazing.
