ok so i had a really dirty pipe on my 400ex and it made the whole thing bad so i was playing around with different products to get it off so i found a cure

INGREDENCE

hot pipe,wd40,thick towel,tooth brush

DIRECTIONS

start ur quad and rev it up to get the motor and pipe hot then sprey wd40 on the pipe "it will smoke alot and smell weird" but just rub it with a thick towel or tooth brush so u dont burn ur hand just keep scrubbing untill u see a difference you might have to get the pipe hot again then wipe the wd40 off with some simple green or something else thats what i used.and it should look better or shinny again

HOPE THIS HELPS SOME PEOPLE

Next time try using 000 or 0000 steel wool.

You dont have to warm it up and chance getting burned,
It dosent smoke, or smell,
and does as good or better of a job.

I used WD40 and steel wool with the pipe cold. It worked like a champ!

or just use THE WORKS toilet cleaner. it is about $2 a bottle. just spray it on and let it sit for 30 sec and wipe it off.
